Artist bio:
Grady Williams is a multimedia artist who makes animations, illustrations, sculptures and fashion related items. He makes art that he wants to see and stare at. He currently attends Maryland institute college of art in Baltimore for animation. Most of his works involve: broken linework, geometric shapes, a sense of movement and bright colors. He also has a personal interest in learning about biology, chemistry and history, but art is the thing he has practiced the most at, so it is what he is pursuing as a career.
Artist statement:
I like to create psychedelic animations that make unique use of merging different mediums, within a digital format. I try to prioritize movement (specifically moving holds) in my animations as well as keeping my style cohesive throughout. My style has consistent linework, with broken lines in places that create detail. I really like illustarting too an prioritize depth (realistic or not) and patterns in my illustrations. My style manifests itself with a handmade feel in all mediums I use, whether it's traditional or digital. My favorite themes to include are monsters, mechanical, sacred geometry, futuristic, sci-fi and carnival.
